Fox Family – Wooden Waldorf Animals – Handmade

Our Wooden FOX Toy is an original design inspired by real animals, crafted with utmost attention to detail. With its detailed animal figure, your child can learn about the different species of animals that live in the wild and immerse themselves in a world of imaginative play. This wooden toy is not only fun and educational but also perfect for outdoor activities. Your child can take it with them while walking, playing in the park, exploring the forest, or even studying at school. Inspired

Each piece is carved from a single block of solid ash wood, hand-sanded and painted in layers. The finish is olive oil: natural, protective and gentle on the wood grain. No plastic components. Small variations in colour and grain are a natural characteristic of handmade production — not defects.

Family sets invite children to play out relationships — the dynamic between adult and young. Children naturally create family stories: someone is lost, someone is found, someone is hungry. Universal themes explored safely through play.

Part of our Waldorf Animals & Birds collection. Pairs with our wooden trees, nature accessories and farm buildings.

Realistic woodland animal figurines are among the most developmentally valuable toys a child can own. Without a fixed use or prescribed story, they invite children to observe, imagine and narrate — building language, empathy and a quiet attentiveness to the natural world. Research shows that open-ended, child-led play builds narrative thinking and emotional intelligence more effectively than toys with a prescribed use.
