Wooden Collectible Arctic Animals Set – Montessori

This set includes 7 charmingly designed wooden arctic animals: a polar bear , muskox , walrus , arctic wolf , sea lion , emperor penguin , and arctic fox . Inspired by real arctic animals, our original design is expressive, colorful, and sure to capture your child's attention. These wooden animals are carefully handmade and painted by Noelino artists, who bring soul, mind, and hands to every toy they create. They have been carefully sanded for a smoot

Each piece is carved from a single block of solid ash wood, hand-sanded and painted in layers. The finish is olive oil: natural, protective and gentle on the wood grain. No plastic components. Small variations in colour and grain are a natural characteristic of handmade production — not defects.

Open-ended wooden figurines work best when children are given time, space and freedom to direct their own play. There is no right way to use them — they become whatever the child needs them to be.
