This beautiful set of seven detailed wooden figurines is perfect for igniting your child's creativity and imagination. Our Gnome Toy Set fits perfectly with dolls houses and other small characters, and can even become the centerpiece of your child’s wooden toys sack. Plus, it's easy to take on the go - perfect for walks in the park, adventures in the forest, or even school. Inspired by the principles of Montessori and Waldorf education, this wooden toy set is designed to encourage open-end

Each piece is carved from a single block of solid ash wood, hand-sanded and painted in layers. The finish is olive oil: natural, protective and gentle on the wood grain. No plastic components. Small variations in colour and grain are a natural characteristic of handmade production — not defects.

Fairy tale characters give children a cast for the stories they carry inside them. Children use them to play out power, fear, transformation and magic in a safe imaginative space.

Fairy tale characters give children a vocabulary for emotions and moral questions that real life often presents too suddenly. Through play with a witch or a wizard, a child can explore power, fear and transformation at their own pace. These figures connect to a shared tradition of stories that has served children for centuries.
