Each piece is carved from a single block of solid ash wood, hand-sanded and painted in layers. The finish is olive oil: natural, protective and gentle on the wood grain. No plastic components. Small variations in colour and grain are a natural characteristic of handmade production — not defects.

Open-ended wooden figurines work best when children are given time, space and freedom to direct their own play. There is no right way to use them — they become whatever the child needs them to be.
